It’s a great start to the year for UoB Elevate start-up Cosimo.Art. The online art marketplace founded by University of Birmingham graduate John Sewell has been running a crowdfunding campaign throughout December, and passed the desired target of £125,000.
The campaign has been running on crowdfunding website Seedrs which has now come to an end.
Cosimo.Art was started by John Sewell in 2018. The idea brings artists closer to art buyers using a commission free online marketplace.
The business is a member of the University of Birmingham’s UoB Elevate incubator programme at The Exchange and part of a current cohort of 38 businesses.
