The rules were simple. A room full of start-up innovators and industry experts all in
one room. Experts were seated at tables and every 5 minutes a horn and a whistle were blown and innovators had to move from one table to the next in true speed dating style.
There was no heartbreak, instead connections were made, details shared and with a little food and drinks thrown in, it was also a great excuse to reflect back on the fantastic things achieved by the UoB Elevate businesses in 2022.
This was an early evening event at The Exchange on Wednesday 7 December and despite the freezing temperatures outside, it was a perfect place to network and help these innovative businesses develop and grow.
The experts present were from different sectors, many well known to the West Midlands start-up community and it was a pleasure to invite so many including; B13 Tech, Biznes App, Burley Law, Creative Cupid, Funding Hero, Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP, Growth Hub, HSBC, Innovate UK Edge, Reedmace Talent, Think Beyond Data, Turnkey, Vicente Advisory and Yeadon IP.
